Patricia Lynn Carter Gentry

Madison – Patricia Lynn Carter Gentry, 49, went home to be with the Lord on Monday, November 20, 2012 at Hospice Home of Rockingham County Hospice Home. Graveside services will be held at 2:00 PM, Tuesday, November 27, 2012 at Evergreen Memory Gardens with Rev. Sue Ann Morris officiating. Mrs. Gentry was born on January 6, 1963 in Rockingham County and was the daughter of Eleanor Stultz Perdue and the late Hugh Morson Carter. She was a member of First United Methodist of Eden. Patricia was a loving daughter, mother, grandmother and friend. Along with her father, she was also preceded in death by her brother, Kyle Carter; husband, Alvin Gentry and grandson, Nathaniel. She is survived by her mother, Eleanor Perdue and step-father, James Perdue; daughters, Jessica Gentry and Heidi Blackstock; grandchildren, Nakiah, Alexis, Valencia, Alaina, Ciara, and Alivia. The family will receive friends at Wilkerson Funeral Home from 7- 9 PM at Wilkerson Funeral Home on Monday, November 26, 2012. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Wilkerson Funeral Home to help the family with final expenses.
