Patricia "Pat" O Wilson

Patricia O. Wilson, 66, passed away on Monday, April 1st, 2024, at her home.

A memorial service will be held at Wilkerson Funeral Home on Friday, April 5, 2024 at 11:00 AM with Rev. Mickey Alcorn officiating. The family will receive friends briefly after the service.

Pat was born in Fort Campbell, Kentucky to Ann O’mara and the late Thomas P. O’mara. She grew up in Reidsville, graduating from Reidsville High School finishing her education at Rockingham Community College with an accounting degree. Pat was employed at Creighton Shirt Manufacturers in Reidsville as production manager until the plants closure.  

After retirement, Pat enjoyed staying at home playing solitaire and cuddling with her pets.   She loved her grandchildren and spoiled them every chance she got.  Pat was a woman of routine and schedule that enjoyed weekly trips to get groceries and go out to lunch with Sim. This spilled over into Christmas when her grandkids looked forward to their popcorn tins and gratitude calendars!  Patience was her greatest virtue, visible in her interaction with her grandkids, daughter, and especially her husband.  

She is survived by her husband of 46 years, Sim Wilson; children, Charlene Outland (Tommy); grandchildren, Jackson, and Skyler Outland; mother, Ann O’mara and brother, Shawn O’mara as well as a loving group of extended family and friends.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Rockingham County Animal Shelter at Rockingham County Animal Shelter at 250 Cherokee Camp Road Reidsville, NC 27320.
