Patricia Ann Wood

Ruffin - Patricia Ann Wood, 68, of 3159 Gurrant Springs Road, passed away on Thursday, February 9, 2012 at Hospice Home of Rockingham County.A graveside service will be held at 2:00 PM on Saturday, February 11, 2012 at Mt. Carmel United Methodist Church with Rev. Hubert Pannell and Rev. William Slade officiating. Mrs. Wood was born on November 5, 1943 to the late Grover Clinton and Anna Belle Merritt Wood. She was of the Methodist faith and a member of Mt. Carmel United Methodist Church. Patricia was valedictorian of her class which set the standard of how she raised her family and how she lived her life. Patricia was a wonderful mother that loved her family deeply and she especially like spending time with her grandchildren. She enjoyed gardening, crossword puzzles, canning, and listening to music. Patricia supported her children in everything they did 100 % and told each of them that they were her favorite. Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her daughter-in-law, Cindy, Fagg. Patricia is survived by her children, Gary Fagg and wife, Debra of Ruffin, Robin Fagg of Ruffin, Alan Fagg and wife, Lisa of Reidsville and Patrick Fagg of Ruffin; grandchildren, Clint and wife, Leigh, Shannon and husband, Jeremy, Misty, Alan Ray, Logan, Tyler, Nathan, Kylie and Summer; great-grandchildren, Nicholas, ReNiyah, Zoey and Zaylen.The family will receive friends from 6 - 8 pm on Friday, February 10, 2012 at Wilkerson Funeral Home and other times at the residence of son, Gary Fagg, 2265 Gurrant Springs Road, Ruffin.In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Hospice Home of Rockingham County, P.O.
