Paul Davis Doss

Reidsville, NC – Paul Davis Doss, formerly of 52 Rayburn Road, Pelham, died Wednesday, February 13, 2008, at Avante in Reidsville. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM, Friday, February 15, 2008, at Wilkerson Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Ralph Clayton officiating. Interment will follow in Wolf Island Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery. Mr. Doss was born in Alabaster, Virginia to the late Tony Bunyon and Zula Holly Doss. He was retired from Dan River Mills where he was an electrician. Paul was an avid hunter and camper and loved to travel. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Sue Irene Stanley Doss; two brothers, J. T. Doss and Earlie Doss; two sisters, Elsie Stanley and Olivia Hutchens, and grandson, Brian Doss. He is survived by his sons, Garfield Davis Doss and wife, Judith of Pelham, Paul Henry Doss and wife, Faye of Madison, Wilbur Earl Doss and wife, Debbie of Pelham and Johnny Edward Doss and wife, Carolyn of Reidsville; 9 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren and one on the way; one great- great-grandchild; sister-in-law Nellie Doss; sisters, Ruby Scearce, Hilda Loye and husband Coolidge of Reidsville and Betsy Treviti of Clarksville, TN. The family will receive friends Thursday, February 14, 2008, at Wilkerson Funeral Home from 7 to 9 PM and other times at the home of his son, Wilbur Doss, 66 Rayburn Road, Pelham.
