Paul Edward Martin

Reidsville: Paul Edward Martin, 73, of 242 Spring Road, passed away on Thursday, October 30, 2014 at his home. Graveside funeral services will be held 3:00 PM Monday, November 3, 2014 at Evergreen Memory Gardens. The family will receive friends from 2:00 – 2:45 PM at Wilkerson Funeral Home prior to the service and other times at the home. Mr. Martin was a native of Rockingham County and the son of the late George and Edna Carter Martin. He was a hard working man and was also preceded in death by his granddaughter, Joyce McDaniel; his great grandson, Michael Ray McDaniel; his sister, Mary Ann Austin; and his brother, Clyde Martin. He is survived by his wife, Joy Overby Martin of the home; his step children, Polly Strader and husband, Gary of Reidsville, Linda Pierce and husband, Clarence of Danville, VA and Anthony McMillan, Sr. of Indiana; children, Sarah McMillan of the home, Anthony McMillan, Jr. and wife, Bridget of Raleigh and April McMillan Pica and fiancé, Rocky Pruitt of Reidsville; 10 grandchildren; 7 great grandchildren; sisters, Faye Hedrick and Margaret Gantt both of Reidsville and several nieces and nephews.
