Paul David Watkins

Reidsville- Mr. Paul David Watkins, 72, of Reidsville, passed away on Saturday, June 27th, 2015. Mr. Watkins was born on February 7th, 1943 in Rockingham County to the late William Clinton Watkins and Katherine Baynes Watkins. He was a U.S. Army veteran of Operation Desert Storm. He retired from the U.S. Army National Guard and later as a security guard. He was preceded in death by his wife, Sybil Vernon Watkins and his brother, Gerald Watkins. Survivors include two sisters-in-law, Jane Manley and husband, Hal of Greensboro; Judy Middleton of Stokesdale; brother-in-law, Donald Vernon of Reidsville; several nieces and nephews. A graveside memorial service will be held on Friday, July 3rd, 2015 at two o’clock at Reidlawn Cemetery. The family wishes to express sincere thanks to the staff of Clapp’s Nursing Home and a friend and neighbor, Mrs. Owens.
