Paula Hunt DeGraff

Reidsville: Paula Marie Hunt DeGraff, 56, passed away on September 11, 2012 at Brian Center of Fincastle, VA. Funeral services will be held 11:00AM on Saturday,September 15, 2012 at Sharon Baptist Church, 3540 Iron Works Road, Reidsville with Pastor Tom Brown officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. Paula was born in Guilford County to Catherine Elizabeth Hunt and the late James William Hunt. She loved teddy bears and cats. Even though Paula was confined to a bed or wheelchair she was a very determined fighter and had a contagious smile for each person she saw. She and her husband, David loved doing everything together. Along with her father she was preceded in death by her grandparents and brother, James William Hunt, Jr. Survivors include her loving and caring husband of 27 wonderful years, David DeGraff; mother, Catherine Elizabeth Hunt of Greensboro; sisters, Nancy H. (Von) Summers, of Salisbury and Kitty H. Woolard of Greensboro; brothers, Andrew (Sandra) Hunt of Conway, SC and Ricky (Angela) Hunt of Greensboro; numerous nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends on Friday evening from 6-8 PM at Wilkerson Funeral Home and other times at the home of Harold and Betty DeGraff in Bethany.
