Reidsville-Mrs. Pauline Foust Jackson, 92, of Reidsville went to be with the Lord on Saturday, November 2nd, 2013. Mrs. Jackson was born on January 26th, 1921 to the late James Milton and Ella Clements Foust. She was a founding and charter member of Hillview Presbyterian Church and retired from American Tobacco Company after forty-two years of service. Polly loved traveling, playing cards, fishing, playing in her bowling league, but was especially treasured for her delicious homemade biscuits. She was preceded in death by her husband, Cecil William Jackson, six brothers and two sisters. She was a devoted mother and grandmother, who is survived by her two sons, Larry Jackson and wife, Frances; Terry Jackson, all of Reidsville; her grandchildren: Paige Jackson Robbins and husband, Chuck of Monte Sereno, California; Eddie Smith and wife, Lisa; John Smith and wife, Sarah; Archie Witty; Sonya Belcher and husband, James, all of Reidsville; her great-grandchildren: Andrew Robbins, Ashley Robbins, Regan Robbins, Chase Robbins; Matt Jackson; Dustin Smith; Matthew Smith; Megan Jackson; Daniel Witty; Megan Witty; Aaron Smith; Jordan Smith; Jeremiah Smith and Jaylon Smith; Eliora Belcher; A. J. Belcher. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, November 5th, 2013 at 2:30 PM at Wilkerson Funeral Home. Rev. Danny Chatham will officiate. Interment will follow in Evergreen Memory Gardens. The family will receive friends on Monday evening from six until eight o’clock at the funeral home and other times at the home of Larry and Frances Jackson. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Hospice of Rockingham County, P. O. Box 281, Wentworth, North Carolina 27375. The family wishes to thank all who assisted them during her time of need, especially, Belmont Medical Associates, Care Source and Hospice of Rockingham County.
