Pauline Cook Shreve

Reidsville – Pauline Cook Shreve, 87, of 273 Camp David Trail, died Sunday, May 11, 2008 at Hospice Home of Rockingham County. Funeral services will be held will be held 2:00 PM, Wednesday, May 14, 2008 at Wilkerson Funeral Home and the burial will follow in Evergreen Memory Gardens. Mrs. Shreve was born in Rockingham County to the late Robert P. and Lula Martin Cook. She was retired from the Singer Sewing Center as the bookkeeper and later worked for Winn Dixie. Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Evans Shreve and her brother, Robert P. “R.P.” Cook. She is survived by her sons, Danny Shreve and wife, Peggy and David all of Reidsville; daughter, LaVerne Shreve Borland and husband, Weldon of Spring Lake, NC; grandchildren, Chris Riggs, Darrel Farmer, Wendy Johnson, Kelly Shreve, Lori Summer Shreve and Shana Diane Shreve; great grandchildren, Jaimie, Krystal, Darrin, Leah, Paulina, Wyatt, Sierra and Aiden; brothers, Charles Cooke and wife, Barbara and Bobby Cook and wife, Carol all of Reidsville; sisters, Thelma Morris of Reidsville and Ruby Shreve and husband, Marion of Rocky Mount, NC; and numerous nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends on Tuesday, May 13, 2008, from 7-9:00 PM at Wilkerson Funeral Home. Other times the family will be at Danny and Peggy’s home (240 Camp David Trail).
