Peggy Diane Hicks Anderson

.Peggy H. “Diane” Anderson, age 52, of Reidsville, went home to be with the Lord on Friday, October 14, 2016. She battled stage four liver cancer for almost a year. She showed extreme courage enduring eight grueling months of chemotherapy. Her strength will always remind those blessed to have known her to never give up. A funeral service will be held at 2:00 P.M., Sunday, October 16, 2016, at Wilkerson Funeral Home with Pastor Rick Garrett, officiating. Visitation will be one-hour prior to the service from 1:00 till 2:00 P.M., at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Evergreen Memory Gardens. Diane was born December 10, 1963 in Greensboro to Peggy and Bobby Hicks. She was the youngest of five siblings – Cleve, Steve, Penny and Robert. She was a devoted wife for twenty-five years and a loving mother to three children. She dedicated twenty-five years of her life working at Cone Mills. She was preceded in death by her husband, Herbert Wayne Anderson and her brother Robert Hicks. She is survived by two daughters, Michelle Anderson and Christine Bourassa and husband, Daniel; one son, Robert Brown and wife, April Brown; seven grandchildren: Shelby, Bethany, Caleb, Peyton, Caroline, Logan and Grace; parents, Bobby and Peggy Hicks; and two brothers and one sister.
