Peggy Jones Setliff

Reidsville–Peggy Jones Setliff, 76, of 1297 Narrow Gauge Road, died on Wednesday, May 20, 2015, at her home. Funeral services will be held 11:00 AM Saturday, May 23, 2015 at Wilkerson Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Shannon Joseph and Wayne Jones officiating. Interment will follow in the Mount Carmel United Methodist Church Cemetery. Peggy was born in Rockingham County to the late Daniel “Doc” Jones and Margie Robertson Jones. She was a retiree of The American Tobacco Company and a member of New Life Baptist Church. A loving mother and grandmother, Peggy delighted in spending time at “Dance Elite” and had many grandchildren and friends there. Those that preceded her in death, along with her parents, are her husband, David “Shorty” Setliff; brother, Kelly Jones and sisters, Nancy Stevens and Jackie Phillips. Survivors include her daughters, Teresa Setliff Standley and husband, Mike and Angie Setliff Tuttle and husband, Gregg; grandchildren, Matthew Jones, Grace Standley and Reid Tuttle; brothers, Wayne, Herman and Ronnie Jones and sisters, Kay Stone, Mary Gwynn, Betty Swink and Robin Lovings. The family will see friends on Friday evening from 6-8 PM at Wilkerson Funeral Home and other times at the home.
