Peggy V. Moore

Reidsville: Peggy V. Moore, 75, of 1621 Cunningham Mill Road, went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, July 28, 2015, at Moses H. Cone Memorial Hospital. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 P.M., Friday, July 31, 2015, at Covington Wesleyan Church with Rev. Ralph Clayton officiating. The burial will follow in Evergreen Memory Gardens. The family will receive friends from 12:00 – 1:00 PM, Friday, July 31, 2015, at Covington Wesleyan Church and other times at the home. Peggy was born on October 1, 1939, to the late Thomas and Nannie Edwards Vernon. She retired from Miller Brewery after 26 years. She loved flowers and her birds. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. Along with her parents, she was also preceded in death by her two children, Carlton Eugene Moore and Robin Renee Moore and five siblings. She is survived by her husband, Earl Moore of the home; her grandchildren, Joshua Lynn Moore of the home, Kevin Carl Moore of Reidsville and Stacey Nicole Moore of Reidsville; her great granddaughter, Mekaylia Jocelyn Moore; her seven siblings and special friends, Judy Barker and Dorothy Bevel.
