Pencie Mabe Smith

Reidsville: Pencie Mabe Smith, 84, of 810 Lawndale Drive, Apt.101B, died Saturday, February 23, 2008 Annie Penn Hospital. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM, Tuesday, February 26, at Wilkerson Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Danny Watkins officiating. Interment will follow in the Mabe Family Cemetery in Danbury. Pencie was born in Stokes County and was a homemaker. She was preceded in death by her husband, Paul Smith. Survivors include her children, Harry Lee Smith, Patsy Craddock, Rickey Smith, Carolyn Sharpe, Susan Kemp, Joseph Ron Smith and Homer Gray Smith; sixteen grandchildren; twenty-one great grandchildren; sister, Josie Mabe. The family will receive friends from 7-9 PM, Monday evening at Wilkerson Funeral and other times at the home of her granddaughter, 3117 Grooms Road.
