Pete Junior Harrelson

Pete “Junior” Harrelson 87, passed away on Thursday, August 24, 2017 at his home. Funeral services will be held at 2:00PM, Sunday, August 27, 2017 at Pleasant Grove Primitive Baptist Church with Elder David Underwood and Rev. Darrell Massey officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. Mr. Harrelson was born in Caswell County to the late Peter and Mable Walker Harrelson. He was a retiree of Glen Raven Mills and a farmer and of the Baptist faith. Along with his parents he was preceded in death by his wife, Helen Harrelson; brother, Emmitte Harrelson; sisters, Pauline Walker, Eliza Simmons, Mary McKinney, Hazel McKinney and Louise Clayton. Survivors include his daughters, Wanda Clark and husband, Tim and Debbie Maness and husband, Charlie; son, Pete Harrelson and wife, Amy; grandchildren, Mandy, Melissa, Stacey, Shane, Ashley, Chelsea and Lindsey; great grandchildren, Chris, Jay, Shelby, Shyanne, Skylar, Addie, Bo, and twins, Braydon and Braxton; sisters, Vernell Oakley and Betty Stowe. The family will see friends on Saturday evening from 6-8 PM at Wilkerson Funeral Home and other times at the home.
