Rachel F. Durham

Reidsville- Mrs. Rachel F. Durham, 72, passed away on Saturday, January 3rd, 2015, at Annie Penn Hospital. A funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM on Tuesday, January 6th, 2015, at Wilkerson Funeral Home with Rev. Gary Loftis officiating. Interment will follow in Ridge View Cemetery in Eden. Mrs. Durham was born on July 20, 1942, in Rockingham County to the late Buddy Thomas and Clemmie Purdy Fulp. She was a former employee of Unifi. She loved flowers and gardening. She was a very loving wife, mother and grandmother. Along with her parents, Rachel was preceded in death by her brother, Thomas Fulp and a sister, Mary Sue Fulp Rakes. Survivors include her husband, Brown “Brownie” Durham; her children, David Watkins, Patty Ann Canter and Melinda F. Durham; her grandchildren, Patricia M. Curry and Bobby A. Bray; her sister, Peggy Paschal; her brothers, Phillip Fulp and James Fulp and several great grandchildren. The family will receive friends on Monday, January 5th, 2015, from 6-8 P.M., at the funeral home.
