Ralph Ray Fitch

Reidsville – Ralph Ray Fitch, 86, of 921 Harrison Crossroad Loop, passed away Tuesday, April 29 2014, at Hospice Home of Rockingham County. A graveside service will be held at 2:00 PM, on Saturday, May 3, 2014 at Midway United Methodist Church Cemetery with Rev. William McKinney officiating. Military rites will be performed by The Rockingham County Honor Guard. The family will see friends one hour prior to the service from 1-2 PM at Wilkerson Funeral Home. Mr. Fitch was born in Caswell County to the late Charlie Lane and Mary Apple Fitch. He was a veteran of the US Army and a watch maker. Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Mary King Fitch; son, Michael Joseph Fitch; twin sister, Ruth Mabe and brother, Glenn Fitch. Survivors include his son, David Ray Fitch and wife, Nora; daughters, Geraldine Utley and Shirley Wilson; eight grandchildren; five great grandchildren and sister, Lena Via.
