Ramona Evans Stiers Southard

Ramona Evans Stiers Southard, 83, of Reidsville, passed away on Monday, October 9, 2017 at her home. A funeral service will be held at 2:00 P.M., on Saturday, October 14, 2017 at Wilkerson Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Ronnie Warner and Pastor Bob Wrachford officiating. Burial will follow in Greenview Cemetery. Visitation for family and friends will begin two hours prior to the service from 12 noon till 2:00 PM at Wilkerson Funeral Home. Ramona was born in Rockingham County to the late James Morris Evans and Virginia Lillard. She was a hardworking and loving wife, mother and grandmother. She enjoyed sewing, gardening, making ceramics and working jigsaw puzzles. Ramona was a founding member of the Evangelical Methodist Church, and most recently a member of Freedom Baptist Church. She enjoyed her family and friends, whether cooking for them or just being around and with them. Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her brothers, Bonnell Evans, Tim Evans and Gaylor Evans; and sister, Patricia Lancaster. Survivors are her children: Tony Stiers (Suzette) of Sylva, NC, Denise Stiers Wrachford (Bob) of Pennsylvania, Maurice Stiers of Ruffin, and Kevin Stiers of Reidsville; granchildren: Christen E Wrachford, R. Daniel Wrachford, David J. Wrachford, Stephen B. Wrachford, Rebekah L. Sparks, Rachel A. Wrachford, Jonathan L. Wrachford, Marybeth Wrachford, Micah T Wrachford, Rachel Langhor, Wayne Mullins, Dallas Stiers and Sydney Stiers; great grandchildren: Meadow Molony, Aubrie Langhor, Tristan Mullins and Angenlina Joy Sparks; sister, Gewell Beard; and several nieces and nephews.
