Randy Thomas Chilton

Randy Thomas Chilton, 65, of Reidsville, passed away at his home on June 18, 2020. Randy was born in Rockingham County. He graduated from Wentworth High School and then joined the US Army. He was preceded in death by his daughter, Brandi Chilton and wife, Donna Robertson Chilton, and served as her primary caregiver in the last years of her life. He was an avid racecar fan, be it at a dirt track or watching on television. In his younger years he sang with the Messengers Quartet and was their primary baritone voice. He is survived by his son, Bradley T. Chilton of Knoxville, TN; grandchildren, Tesla Chilton and Officer Shannon Brown and wife, Reychelle and their infant son, Aidan Brown; mother, Betty Kallam; brothers, Kenny Kallam and wife, Melissa, Lowell Franklin London; sister, Dianne Collins; nieces, Amy Smith and Miranda Collins. There will be no formal services at this time. The family requests that memorial contributions be made in Randy’s honor to a veteran’s charity of your choice.
