Raymond “Kirky” A. Hoskins Jr., 84, went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday December 1, 2021.
A graveside service will be held at Roselawn Memorial Gardens at 2PM on Sunday, December 5, 2021, with Jeffrey C. Yeatts Officiating.
Kirky was born in Caswell County to the late Raymond A. Hoskins Sr. and Gladys Hoskins Moore. He served in the US Army for 3 years and was very proud of his service. He loved his country. After 32 years of service, he retired from Fieldcrest- Cannon. Kirky enjoyed traveling, golf, and fishing. He especially loved playing Rook with his special friends. He was an Avid Yankees fan and would readily defend them. Most of all he loved his family and was their Rock. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
Along with his parents, he is preceded in death by his daughters, Kathryn H. Dodson, Patricia Hoskins; brother, David G. Hoskins and Stepmother, Eleanor Hoskins Bogart.
He is survived by his wife of 33 years, Margie Corum Hoskins; children, Penny Everette (Billy); sons, Jeffrey Yeatts (Robin) and Gary Yeatts (Melanie); sisters, Mary Kaye Huecker (Phil) and Pamela Boor; 10 grandchildren, Chelsea Nelson, Torri Moore, Cole Everette, Brett Everette, Kayla Everette, Chance Yeatts, Chasity Hawkins, Chad Yeatts, Emily Beaulaurier, Wes Land and 6 great grandchildren, Catherine Nelson, Maddie and Claire Hawkins, Jayden and Kinslee Yeatts, and Greycen Land, along with numerous nieces, nephews and a large and loving extended family.
