Raymond Michael Murray

Raymond Michael Murray, 59, of Reidsville passed away January 17, 2024. A Memorial Service will be held at 3:00 PM, Saturday, January 27, 2024 at Wilkerson Funeral Home with Rev. Phil Surrett officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the memorial service.

Ray was born in Watervliet, New York to Mary Anne Belcher Murray and the late Robert P. Murray. At the age of 18, he started Bromurr Construction, a heavy equipment company, with his father. He was currently employed at Atlantic Contracting Company, Inc. Ray loved spending time with his family, friends and work family. He also spent time outdoors, hiking, fishing, boating, kayaking, listening to music and attending concerts. Ray loved to ride, whether motorcycles or four-wheelers. He especially loved his furry son Storm and his grand puppy Grizzly.

Ray is survived by his wife of 30 years Rebecca Eggleston Murray; daughters Julia Murray and Nicole Allen; 5 grandchildren, Aaron, Zowie, Dennis, Aubree, Paislee; brothers Bobby and Rick; nephew Derrik Bovee; nieces Christy Murray, Samantha Murray, Brittney Murray and Samantha Eggleston.
