Rebecca Ann Brown

Rebecca “Becky” Ann Brown 65, of Ruffin, NC went home to be with the Lord on Friday, December 17, 2021.

A funeral service will be held at Ruffin United Methodist Church on Tuesday, December 21,2021 at 2PM with Rev. Lee Eggers officiating. The family will receive friends from 5-7 Monday, December 20th, at Wilkerson Funeral Home. The graveside committal will follow at Ruffin cemetery.

Becky was born in Danville, VA to the late James Henry “Jim” Brown and Clara Hopper Brown. She loved music and dancing. She was a multiple time NC State Champion Horseshoe player. Becky was always there to help others, whether that be by taking them back and forth to appointments or volunteering at her local church. Many have eaten at her table and enjoyed her fine cooking. Most of all she loved her family. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her.

Along with her parents, she is preceded in death by her brother Robert Lee “Bobby” Brown.
Becky is survived by her son, Daryl Lee Chapman; nephew, Jeff Brown (Heather); nieces, Melody Brown and Amanda Philipps (Chris); great niece, Beth Brown and a loving canine companion, Missy as well as a large and loving group of extended family and friends
