Renee Perry Carter

Reidsville - Renee Perry Carter, age 64, passed away suddenly and joined our Lord Jesus Christ on October 3, 2012. Renee was born June 19, 1948 in Virginia and was preceded in death by her mother and father, Evelyn Cox Perry and William Kyle Perry. Renee worked for many years at Penn National Insurance in Greensboro, NC during the 1980’s and at Sears Department Stores in collections during the early 1990’s. She enjoyed several years of life at Topsail Beach, NC and then moved back to Reidsville, NC where she was a resident for over 30 years. Renee was a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister and friend to many. She is survived by her daughter Amy Ashworth Krites and her husband Richard Krites of Reidsville, NC and her daughter Julie Ashworth Riccardi and husband Matthew Riccardi of Charlotte, NC; 4 grandchildren, Hannah Brooke Roberts and Haley Nicole Roberts of Reidsville, NC and Deacon Elijah Riccardi and Gavin Levi Riccardi of Charlotte, NC; one great-grandchild, Grayson Walker; 4 siblings Honey Hunter of Richmond, Virginia, Patricia Bryan of Dodge City Kansas, Rebecca Via of Eden, NC and Andre Perry; and a number of close friends. Visitation will be held at Wilkerson Funeral Home in Reidsville, NC on Saturday evening, October 6, 2012 from 5:00 to 7:00 PM. Renee desired to be cremated and will be laid to rest with her mother in Martinsville, Va.
