Rhonda Calhoun Wicker, 50, of 284 Pleasant Lane went home to be with The Lord Thursday, February 7, 2019 at Annie Penn Hospital surrounded by her loving family.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM Monday, February 11, 2019 at the Church of the Living God, 1620 Pecan Road with Pastor Pete Hutchens and Bishop Donnie Robinette officiating. The burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends Sunday, February 10, 2019 from 6:00 – 8:00 PM at Wilkerson Funeral Home.
Rhonda was a native of Rockingham County and was a lifetime resident of Reidsville. She was a faithful member of Reidsville Church of the Living God. She was formerly employed with the Rockingham County Enrichment Center where she worked closely with special needs children. She would light up the room as she shared her endless stories about “her kids”. Rhonda was the youth camp nurse and always welcomed the friends of her children, treating them like her own. She adored her husband and children. Her infectious smile will be missed by all who loved her. She was preceded in death by her mother, Nancy Calhoun; her father-in-law, John Wicker, Sr. and many aunts, uncles and her grandparents.
She is survived by her husband, John Wicker; her children, Austin Wicker, Cordale Wicker and Rebekah Wicker all of the home; her father, Thomas Calhoun; her brother, Phillip Calhoun; her brother-in-law, Phillip Wicker and wife, Tiffany; her sister-in-law, Lisa Wicker; her mother-in-law, Phyllis Wicker; 5 nieces, 3 nephews and a large extended family.
