Richard Hal Bolden

Reidsville –Mr. Richard Hal Bolden, 79, of Reidsville, passed away on December 24th, 2014. Mr. Bolden was born on February 19th, 1935 in Rockingham County to the late James Everette and Margie Jarrett Bolden. He was a retired carpenter and a member of Shady Grove Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his siblings, Dewey F. Bolden, James T. Bolden, Herman W. Bolden, Johnny A. Bolden, Robert A. Bolden, Thelma B. Sexton and Elaine B. Strader. He is survived by his son, Keith Bolden and wife, Debbie; his daughter, Connie Covington, all of Reidsville and Jan Howerton of Virginia; grandchildren, Jakob Bolden, Trace Bolden, Owen Bolden, Brooke Weaver, Hanna Covington, Shona Johnson and Crystal Ciferf; one great grandchild, Brelynn Bolden and Hannah Cody ; his brother, Jimmy Bolden and wife, Barbara of Eden; sisters, Maude Priddy, Lucille Tilley, Jackie Neal and husband, Gordon all of Reidsville. Funeral services will be held on Sunday, December 28th, 2014 at one o’clock at Shady Grove Baptist Church. Pastor Terry Larsen will officiate. Interment will follow in Evergreen Memory Gardens with military honors. The family will receive friends on Saturday from six until eight o’clock at Wilkerson Funeral Home and other times at the home of Jimmy Bolden, 1635 Quesinberry Road, Eden, North Carolina, 27288.
