Richard Haywood Chilton

Reidsville– Richard Haywood Chilton, 67, died on Tuesday, September 11, 2012, at his home. Graveside services will be held 2:00 PM Friday, September 14, 2012 at Evergreen Memory Gardens with Rev Mark Tolodziecki officiating. Pallbearers will be Richie Chilton, Rodney Chilton, Skylar Chilton, Ryan Chilton, Matthew Chilton, Buck Cayton, Olin Ward, Donion Walker and Darren Wagoner. Richard was born in Clinton, SC to the late Raymond Chilton and Margaret Gregory King. He was a boilermaker with International Brotherhood of Boilermakers, local #30. Along with his parents he was preceded in death by a brother, Ralph Chilton. Survivors include his sons, Richie Chilton and wife, Annette and Rodney Chilton and wife, Lynne; grandchildren, Skylar Chilton, Autumn Rayne Chilton, Ryan Chilton and Matthew Chilton; sisters, Reymonda Turner, Guynell Walker, Sylvia Ashburn and Lisa Carter. The family will receive friends, 6:00 – 8:00 PM, Thursday evening at Wilkerson Funeral Home and other times at the home of his son, Rodney Chilton, 1107 Foxhunt Lane, Reidsville.
