Richard Hall Copley

Reidsville- Richard H. Copley, 70, of 143 Stillwater Lane, went home to be with the Lord surrounded by his loving wife and family on Monday, December 22, 2014, at Moses Cone Hospital. A celebration of his life will be held at 6:00 PM on Saturday, December 27, 2014, at Daystar Church, Downtown Campus with Dr. Allen Holmes officiating. Richard was a native of Tennessee and was born to the late, Grady and Stella Denton Copley. Richard honorably served in the US Navy during the Vietnam War. Currently he was employed with Sun State Security where he was recently promoted to lieutenant. He was a partner with Daystar Church. Along with his parents, Richard was also preceded in death by his son, Darrell Copley. Survivors include his wife Janice Copley; his sons, Richard Copley, Jr. and wife, Kim, Michael Copley and wife, Lisa and Bobby Copley; stepson, Christopher P. Liegerot; 7 grandchildren; one great granddaughter; 3 brothers; 2 sisters; mother-in-law, Gloria Long; 3 sisters-in-law; and 3 brothers-in-law.
