Ricky Dale Loftis

Ricky Dale Loftis, 68, passed away on Thursday, October 16, 2020 at Moses Cone Hospital. A graveside service will be held at 1:00PM on Tuesday, October, 20, 2020 at Reidlawn Cemetery with Rev. Wayne Knight officiating. At other times you may visit with the family at the home. You may sign the register book and see Ricky at Wilkerson Funeral Home on Monday from 9:00AM til 5:00PM. Ricky was born in Rockingham County to the late Hildrey and Mildred Smith Loftis and was a retiree of Ball Corporation. He was a loving husband, father and grandfather. His interests included activities with his family, his pets, gardening and working out. Along with his parents he is preceded in death by his sister, Joyce Heath. Survivors include his wife, Dolly Loftis; daughter, Toni Loftis Shoe; sons, Travis Loftis and Tyler Loftis; step son, Donald Martin; grandchildren, Jake Shoe, Jaiden Shoe, Travis Loftis, II, Addison Loftis and Hildrey Garrett Loftis; sister, Grey L. Carter and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
