Rita Wilson Palacios

Eden – Rita Wilson Palacios, 59, of 126 Nova Drive, passed away Wednesday, May 8, 2013 at Morehead Memorial Hospital. A visitation will be held on Saturday, May 11, 2013 from 2-4 PM for family and friends at Wilkerson Funeral Home. Rita was born in Rockingham County to the late Thomas and Lou Annie Turner Wilson and was a homemaker. Along with her parents she was preceded in death by her daughter, Veronica Darlene Palacios; sisters, Doris Adams, Elizabeth Gauldin, Mary Hernandez and Patricia Lopez; brothers, Robert, James, Thomas and Floyd Wilson. Survivors include her sons, Daniel Edward Palacios and Alfredo A. Palacios, Jr.; nine grandchildren; one great grandchild; brothers, Johnny and William Wilson; sisters, Dorothy Gauldin, Irene Roach, Cecilia Alaniz and her loving pet, Pepe-OB. The family would like to express our deep appreciation to Reyes Palacios for all his endearing care, friendship and support to our beloved Rita.
