Robert "Bobby" Peoples

Reidsville, NC: Robert “Bobby” Peoples, 61, of 809 Dockery Road, passed away on Thursday, January 28, 2016, at his home. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M., Monday, February 1, 2016, at Wilkerson Funeral Home with Chaplain Tripp Kimbrough officiating. Interment will follow in Evergreen Memory Gardens. Robert was born on July 16, 1954, in Rockingham County, to Robert Eugene Peoples and Margaret Rowland. He grew up in Rockingham County. He married Donna Little on February 17, 1980. Robert worked very hard to provide for his family. He enjoyed camping and working in his yard and loved to play the guitar. He was a loving husband, father and grandfather. Robert was preceded in death by his father, a brother, Ronald “Ricky” Peoples and a sister, Carol Miller. Survivors include his wife Donna Peoples; his children, Rebecca Linville and husband Walter, Mark Peoples and wife Nikki and Crystal Walker and husband Derrick; eight grandchildren; his mother, Margaret Belton; two brothers, Eddie Jerry Peoples and Daniel Craig Peoples; a sister, Roxie Ann Somers; numerous nieces and nephews, and his special friend Peanut. The family will receive friends on Sunday, January 31, 2016, from 6:00 to 8:00 P.M., at Wilkerson Funeral Home in Reidsville and other times at the home.
