Reidsville – Robert “Bobby” Allen Bolden, 66, of 872 Wolf Island Road, passed away on Thursday, January 10, 2013 at Morehead Memorial Hospital. Funeral services will be held 3:00 PM Saturday, January 12, 2013 at Wilkerson Funeral Home with Rev. Terry Larson officiating. The burial will follow at Evergreen Memory Gardens. Bobby was a native and lifetime resident of Rockingham County and the son of the late, James and Margie Jarrett Bolden. He was a lifelong employee of Bolden Construction. He was of the Baptist faith and was a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother and friend. He was a avid fisherman. Along with his parents, he was also preceded in death by his brothers, Dewey Bolden, Johnny Bolden, Herman “Bo” Bolden and James “Icky” Bolden; sister, Thelma Bolden Sexton; and nephew, Jerry Sexton. He is survived by his wife, Dianne Waller Bolden of the home, his son, Robbie Bolden of Martinsville; his daughters, Dawn Martin and husband, Tommy and Debbie Dowell and husband, Joe all of Reidsville; grandchildren, Krystle Paschal, Samantha Comer and husband, Johnathan, Katie Martin, Megan Vincent and Husband, Michael, Chelsey Craig, Calvin Dowell, Jalen Dowell, Gage Bolden, Colbie Bolden and Emily Bolden; great grandchildren, Natalie and Kinsley Vincent, Leland Smith and Troy Hooker; sisters, Maude Priddy, Elaine Strader, Lucille Tilley, Jackie Neal and husband, Gordon; brothers, Richard Bolden and Jimmy Bolden and wife, Barbara; sister-in-law, Avra Waller; brothers-in-law, Butch Waller and Johnny Davis and wife, Marcia; and 53 nieces and nephews that loved him very much. The family will receive friends, Friday evening from 6-8:00 PM at Wilkerson Funeral Home and other times at Debbie’s home, 3977 Vance Street Ext.
