Robert Wayne Brown

Reidsville: Robert Wayne Brown, 78, passed away at his home on Monday, January 22, 2018. A funeral service will be held on Thursday, January 25, 2018 at 2:00 PM at Calvary Baptist Church with Dr. Greg Robertson officiating. Burial will follow at Reidlawn Cemetery. Wayne was born in Rockingham County on October 3, 1939 to the late, Robert Henry Brown and Ruby Turner Brown. He was a loving father and grandfather. He loved the outdoors and had numerous friends. Wayne was retired from a long career in sales. Along with his parents, Wayne was preceded in death by his granddaughter, Michelle Yount. Wayne is survived by his daughter, Cheryl Lambert and husband, Ronald of Florence, S.C.: sons: Steve Brown and wife, Deana of Reidsville and Charles Brown also of Reidsville; six grandchildren; eight great grandchildren; brother, Donald Brown of Reidsville; and sister, Frances Chatmon also of Reidsville. Visitation for family and friends will take place Wednesday evening, January 24, 2018 at Wilkerson Funeral Home from 6:00 till 8:00 PM, other times at Steve’s home, 1824 Ashley Loop Road, Reidsville.
