Robert "Boyd" Cantrell

Ruffin:   Robert “Boyd” Cantrell, 30, of 48 Casview Acres #1, died on Wednesday, June 11, 2008. Graveside funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM, Saturday, June 14th at Reidlawn Cemetery with Rev. George Fox officiating.   Boyd was born in Rockingham County and was a graduate of Reidsville Senior High.   He was a product technician with Aaron’s Sales and   a member of Baptist Temple Church. He was preceded in death by his father, Buddy Cantrell; grandfathers, Floyd Cantrell, Numa Wheeler and Junior Samuels. He is survived by his wife, Amanda Woodson Cantrell; daughter, Skyler “Doodlebug” Cantrell; son, R.J. “Little Man” Cantrell, all of the home; mother, Mary Ellen Wheeler Cantrell; grandmother, Rebecca Samuels; aunt, Becky Pruitt and husband, Maurice; cousin, Michael Southard and wife, Michelle; three special children, Febbie, Caitlin and Savannah Branch; three special friends, Robert Branch and wife, Amanda, Camron Dudley and Chad Clark. The family will receive friends at Wilkerson Funeral Home on Friday, June 13th from 7:00 – 9:00 PM.   Other times the family will be at the home of Raymond and Debra Woodson, 249 Ashland Road, Ruffin. The family would like to extend a special thank you to Casville FD Station #3, First Responders, Raymond Woodson and Jerry Wilson.
