Robert Wayne Hundley

Reidsville – Robert Wayne Hundley, Sr., 70, of 235 Twitty Lane passed away on Sunday, June 6, 2010 at his home.A funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM on Saturday, June 12, 2010 at Wilkerson Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow in Dan River Primitive Baptist Church cemetery.Mr. Hundley was born March 13, 1940 to the late Robert Greene and Lillie Mae Gauldin Hundley. He was of the Baptist Faith and attended Rock of Ages Baptist Church. Robert enjoyed Hunting and fishing among also tending to his farm and his animals. Along with his parents he was preceded in death by his brothers, William and Tommy Hundley; sisters Agnes Scott and Willa Mae Petty.Robert is survived by his sons, Robert Wayne Hundley, Jr. and wife, Clemmie of Reidsville, Douglas Wayne Hundley and wife, Tammy of Yanceyville and Russell Hundley of Reidsville; daughter, Angela Hundley Alcorn and husband, Billy of Kernersville; grandchildren Hayden Hundley, Landrea Hundley, Kodie Hundley, Wil Alcorn, Billie Jo Hundley, Betty Jo Hundley and Cynthia Gail Hundley.The family will receive friends Friday, June 11th from 7 – 9 PM at Wilkerson Funeral Home and other times at the residence.
