Greensboro - Robert Lee Coe, Sr., 68, of 109 S. Holden Road, died Monday, June 14, 2012 at Moses Cone Memorial Hospital. Funeral services will be held 2:00 PM Monday, June 18, 2012 at Woodmont United Methodist Church with Rev. Mark Christy officiating. Mr. Coe was born in Rockingham County and was the son of the late, Willie Lee and Estelle King Coe. He was formerly employed with Burlington Industries. He was an avid outdoorsman. Along with his parents, he is also preceded in death by his son, David Wayne Coe; his birth mother, Wilma Elizabeth Nelson and his brothers, Buford Coe and Joe Coe. He is survived by his son, Robert Lee Coe, Jr. and wife, Josie of Greensboro; brother, Wayne Coe and sister, Alice Coe; half brother, Lynn Nelson; half sisters, Nellie Nelson Fain, Doris Nelson Hodnett and Stella Nelson Setliff. The family will receive friends on Sunday, June 17th at Wilkerson Funeral Home from 6:00 - 8:00 PM and other times at Linda Sharp's home (110 White Road, Mayodan)
