Reidsville – Roger Wayne “Pudgie” Taylor, 56, of 2318 S. Scales Street., died Wednesday, August 20, 2008 at his home. Funeral services will be held at 2:00PM Friday, August 22, 2008 at Wilkerson Funeral Home with Rev. Larry Scott andRev. George Roberson officiating. Interment will follow in Evergreen Memory Gardens. Pudgie was a native of Rockingham County. He was employed with Guildan in Eden and attended Midway United Methodist Church. He is survived by his parents, J.C. and Ernestine Taylor; girlfriend, Donna Kernodle and her son, Charles Keith Kernodle; brother, Donald Taylor; step-daughter, Melissa Stephens and husband, Dwayne; grandchildren, Samantha and Logan Stephens; grandmother, Mary Moore; niece, Raven Allen; great niece, Laclan Allen. The family would like to thank the nurses and staff of Hospice of Rockingham County for their care. The family will receive friends on Thursday, August 21, 2008, from 6-8 PM at Wilkerson Funeral Home. Other times the family will be at the home of J.C. and Ernestine Taylor, 3688 Iron Works Road.
