Ronald Lee Reid

Reidsville – Ronald Lee Reid, 60, of 690 Troublesome Road, died Tuesday, May 26, 2009 at his residence. Funeral services will be held Friday, May 29, at 11:00 AM at Sharon Baptist Church with Rev. Tom Brown officiating. Interment will follow in Sharon Baptist Church Cemetery. Mr. Reid was born in Rockingham County and retired from Miller Brewing Company after 29 years of service. He was a veteran of the U.S. Marine Corps reserves and was a fireman with the Bethany Volunteer Fire Department.He is survived by his wife, Susan Reid of the home; sons, Jason Reid and wife, Kendra, Matt Reid and wife, Holly; daughter, Megan Blacker and husband, Mike; grandchildren, Jeremiah and Simon Reid; Parents, Hampton and Mary Reid; brothers, Charles Reid and wife, Betty, J.B. Reid and wife, Lisa, Mike Reid and wife, Rachel. The family will see friends at Sharon Baptist Church on Thursday, May 28, from 7-9 PM and other times at the residence.Memorial contributions may be made to Sharon Baptist Church cemetery fund or building fund, 3540 Iron Works Road, Reidsville, NC 27320.
