Ronald Lee Strader

Reidsville – Ronald Lee Strader, 71, of 1000 Frances Drive passed away on October 9, 2010 at Hospice Home of Rockingham County. A graveside service will be held 2:00 PM Tuesday, October 12, 2010 at Evergreen Memory Gardens with Rev. Tom Worley and Rev. Randy Hester officiating with military honors. Mr. Strader was born in Rockingham County to the late Major Lee and Ethel Saunders Strader. He served his country proud in the United States Army. Ronald was a wonderful father and beloved husband who loved his family and was a great provider. Among living life to the fullest he enjoyed golfing and fishing. Along with his parents he was preceded in death by his twin brother, Donald Lee Strader and sister, Sarah Louise Orre Weddle. Ronald is survived by his wife, Mary Strader of the home; daughter, Rhonda Strader Wilson and husband, Rick of Reidsville; sister, Betty Strader Crowder and husband, John of Kernersville, NC; and several nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the graveside service at Wilkerson Funeral Home and other times at the home. The family request that in lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made in his honor to either Hospice of Rockingham County; P.O.
