Ronnie Johnson Allen

Eden - Ronnie Johnson Allen, 70, of 218 Ashley Loop Road, went home to be with The Lord on Sunday, November 27, 2016 at Moses Cone Memorial Hospital. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM, Tuesday, November 29, 2016 at Wilkerson Funeral Home with Pastor James Hodges and Pastor Ronnie Warner officiating. The burial will follow at Mt. Carmel United Methodist Church Cemetery with military honors. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. Ronnie was born in Reidsville to the late, Ben “BT” and Virginia “Billie” Powell Allen. He was formerly employed with Golden Belt Tobacco Company and was a member of Burton Memorial Baptist Church. He always loved and enjoyed Westerns, ball games, country music and his pets, Baxter and Smokey. He is survived by his daughter, Lisa Allen Adkins and husband, Robert of Mayodan; grandchildren, Aaron, Dylan and Nick Adkins; sisters, Rachel Crumpton and husband, Gee of Eden and Darlene Allen and husband, Tim of Reidsville and extended family.
