Rosetta Anne "Anniebell" Dortmundt

Reidsville: Rosetta Ann Evans Dortmundt, 83, passed into the presence of the Lord on Monday, October 5, 2015, at the Hospice Home of Rockingham County. Funeral services will be held 10:00 AM Thursday, October 8, 2015 at the Evangelical Methodist Church with Rev. Aaron Withrow and Rev. Tommy Puryear officiating. The burial will follow at Reidlawn Cemetery. Ann was born in Buncombe County and was the daughter of the late Sue Galloway and Herbert Evans. She retired from Dan River Mills with over 50 years of service. She was a faithful member of the Evangelical Methodist Church where she sang in the choir. Her favorite moments were spent with her family and friends and goofing off with Leland. Along with her parents, Ann was also preceded in death by her husband, Linwood Dortmundt and four brothers and four sisters. Ann is survived by her sisters: Sarah Branch of Reidsville, Louise Surratt of Swannanoa and Mary Ruth Ray of Reidsville; and numerous nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends on Wednesday evening at Wilkerson Funeral Home from six till eight PM. Other times the family will be at 103 Old Mill Road in Reidsville.
