Rosetta Jarrell Payne

Reidsville: Rosetta Jarrell Payne, 83, of Reidsville, passed away peacefully, January 29, 2019, at her home. A graveside service will be held at 2 PM Sunday, February 3, 2019, at Greenview Cemetery with Rev. Ron Tuck officiating. The family will receive friends 1 hour prior to the service at Wilkerson Funeral Home. Rosetta was born in Rockingham County to the late William Walter Jarrell and Mary Helen Williams Jarrell. She retired after 18 years of service from Wal-Mart. She was a servant to all and loved to help others. Rosetta loved gardening and the farm. When she was younger, she loved to travel and often visited the mountains. Most of all she loved her family. She will be greatly missed. Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 36 years, Arnold Stuart Payne; son, Michael Payne and daughter, Susan Payne. She is survived by her son, Arnie Payne; grandchildren, Cassadi and Bobbie Johnson; great grandchild, Ariah St.Luis; siblings, John Jarrell and Sylvia Fulp as well as a loving extended family.
