Rosie Priddy Mabe

Rosie Mabe, 99, went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, February 25, 2020 at her home. Funeral services will be held at 2:00PM, Saturday, February 29, 2020 at Wilkerson Funeral Home with Pastor Bran Aldridge officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service and burial will follow at Roselawn Memorial Gardens. Rosie was born on February 2, 1921 in Stokes County to the late Joseph Priddy and Vivian Shelton Priddy. She graduated from Wentworth High School and was a faithful member of College Park Baptist Church. She was a Sunday school teacher there for many years and was well loved by her church family. She cooked every Sunday well into her 80’s. Most of all she loved spending time with her family; she will be greatly missed. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husbands, Earlie Mabe and Watson Mabe as well as her brother, Clinton Priddy. She is survived by her son, Keith Mabe (Ruby); daughters, Margaret Woosley, Betty Patterson and Trisha Sherrill (Sam); grandchildren, Kristin Pebelske (Jon), Dustin Mabe (Kristy), Ronald Critzer (Dawn), Amanda Hudson (David), Victor Woosley, Tammy Turner, Jamie Patterson, John Merricks (Whiskey), Jennifer Patterson and Chelsey Ruta (Kyle); sisters, Margaret Shelton and Pauline Somers (Roy) as well as numerous great grandchildren and a loving extended family. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to her church home, College Park Baptist Church, 2641 Wentworth Street, Reidsville NC, 27320.
