Roy Lee Bullins, 74, of Reidsville went home to be with Jesus on Thursday, February, 14th 2019.
Funeral services will be at 3:00 PM Monday, February 18th, 2019 at Covington Wesleyan Church with Rev. Ralph Clayton and Rev. Elliot Miller officiating. Burial will follow in Evergreen Memory Gardens The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
Roy was born to the late Dewey and Edna Bullins and retired from the Department of Transportation after 30 years of service. He was a faithful member of Covington Wesleyan Church for over 40 years and loved Pastor Clayton and his church. He enjoyed his life with his wife, Brenda and always told her how much he loved her and that she was the best, most wonderful and loving wife and that their 46 year marriage was a blessing from God. The love Roy and Brenda shared was so strong and deep that only God could separate them. Roy enjoyed playing golf, walking on the beach and working in the yard. He was a genuine, kind, considerate humble and caring child of his Precious Heavenly Father. Giving Roy back to Jesus was very difficult, but he earned the crown of eternal life with God, the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Spirit. You are resting now my precious Roy and I will be with you again soon.
Roy and Brenda would like to thank Pastors Ralph and Elliot, Johnny Doss, Stewart Brown, John Hudspeth, Deanie Robertson, Judy Burton, Robin and Jerry Burroughs, cousins Edna Smith and Ruth Kennedy and the church family for all the kindness that was shown to us. May God richly bless each of you.
In lieu of flowers, the family would like donations to be made to Covington Wesleyan Church in his memory.
