Roy W Ingram, 74, passed away on May 12, 2015 at his home in Summerfield North Carolina. He was born on September 26, 1940 in Cornelia, Georgia, and spent his youthful years growing up in Kenmore New York. After graduating from Kenmore High School, he enlisted in the United States Air Force where he served as an Aircraft Maintenance Crew Chief. Upon receiving an Honorable Discharge Roy returned to Kenmore and soon after met and married the love of his life Ruth. Shortly after their marriage he and Ruth made a bee line to Reidsville N.C. as fast as the his 1959 Thunderbird would allow and have been happily married for 49 years Roy worked at Sherwin Williams as Technical Supervisor. He retired in 2005 and enjoyed many years rebuilding classic cars. Roy is survived by his wife Ruth A, his mother Ruth D Ingram two children Troy Ingram, and Kelly Wilson, his three grandchildren, Brooke and Bryce Wilson and Joey Ingram, his brother Butch Ingram, two sisters Janice Henry and Anna Jo Bundy, daughter-in-law Debra Ingram, son-in-law Tracy Wilson, and only cousin Darryl Gailey. In lieu of flowers the family requests memorial donations be made to Cancer Research Center at Duke University. Condolences may be made online at www.wilkersonfuneral.com.
