Ruben "Dale" Moore

: Ruben “Dale” Moore, 64, passed away early Wednesday November 9, 2016 at the Hospice Home of Rockingham County. The Celebration of Life service will be held on Saturday, November 12, 2016, at 2:00 P.M. at Wilkerson Funeral Home with Pastor Steve Griffith and Pastor David Tuck officiating. Burial will follow in Reidlawn Cemetery. Dale was born on September 8, 1952 in Danville, VA to the late Clarence Lee Moore and Reva Brown Tate. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather and brother. His family was his pride and joy. Dale loved attending any event that included his grandchildren. His hobbies included restoring automobiles, flying RC model airplanes and going “Jeeping” with his son. He thoroughly enjoyed landscaping, gardening and woodworking. He loved “Molly” his Boston Terrier. Along with his parents, Dale was preceded in death by his brother, Dwight Moore. Surviving are his wife of 47 years, Beulah Gantt Moore of the home; son, Todd Moore and wife, Andrea of Eden, NC; sister, Reva Moore Lowder and husband, Tim of Brooksville, FL; grandchildren: Hannah, Claire and Riley; and numerous nieces and nephews. Visitation for family and friends will take place at Wilkerson Funeral Home on Friday, November 11, 2016 from 6:00 till 8:00 PM; other times at the home. Memorial Contributions may be made to the ALS Association NC Chapter, North Blount Street, Suite 2000, Raleigh, NC 27601.
