Reidsville: Mrs. Ruby Harrison of Reidsville, entered into the
presence of her Lord and Savior on Monday, December 30th,
2013 at Annie Penn Hospital.
Mrs. Harrison was born on February 19, 1938 in Stoneville, NC.
While young she was an excellent athlete and sang many solos
in Community Baptist Church. Her focus centered on her faith
in praying for many missionaries and friends, especially those
she met on facebook. She had a deep and genuine love for her
family and prayed for them daily.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Robert and Eulalia
Pearl Williams and three brothers, Thomas, Howard, and Ted.
Her survivors include her husband, Jack Harrison of the home;
and two daughters: Lori Fullmer and husband Carey of
Pennsylvania; Kim Faint and husband Chuck, and son Dave
Harrison and wife Kim of Reidsville; two brothers, C.B. (Betty)
and George Williams both of Reidsville and three sisters: Mary
Miller, Joy Ann Lamberth (Paul), and Shirley Harris (Pete), all
of Reidsville. There are eight very special grandchildren and
eleven great-grandchildren.
Her funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM Thursday,January 2, 2014 at Wilkerson Funeral Chapel. Burial will follow in Evergreen Memory Gardens. The family will receive friends from 12:00 – 2:00 PM prior to the service and other times at the home.
