Ruth D. Ingram

Ruth D. Ingram entered Heaven's gates on Monday, September 25, 2017. Ruth was born on July 23, 1920, in Alto, GA to the late Bessie and Luther Gailey. She was a retired employee of Remington Rand. After her retirement, she was a consummate mother and homemaker enjoying her retirement in Kenmore, NY and eventually in Summerfield, NC. Her son Roy W. Ingram cared for his mother in Summerfield until she entered Countryside Manor in Stokesdale, NC. Ruth was 97 years old and will be sadly missed by her family and friends. She was united in marriage to Berner W. Ingram on August 6, 1938, in Clarksville, GA. She was preceded in death by her husband of 45 years and loving son Roy Ingram of Summerfield. Ruth is survived by her daughters Anna Jo Bundy of Catskill, NY and Janice Henry and Ronald Henry of Sanborn, NY, her son George Ingram and daughter-in-law Sandra Ray of Humble, TX, daughter-in-law Ruth Ingram of Summerfield, NC and half sister Carolyn Law of Eden, NC. Ruth is also survived by ten grandchildren and twenty great grandchildren. She will be buried joining her beloved husband in Alto, GA.
