Ruth Jett Warf

Reidsville – Ruth Jett Warf, 80, died Sunday, September 14, 2008, at Rockingham County Hospice Home. A graveside service will be held on Thursday, September 18, 2008, at 2:00 PM at Greenview Cemetery with Rev. Dave Gilbert officiating. Miss Warf , a native of Rockingham County, was the daughter of the late William Henry and Bertha Harris Warf. She graduated from Reidsville High School in 1946. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death of her sisters, Olene W. Gammon and husband, Roy and Willie Mae Warf; brothers, James A. Warf and Leroy Warf and wife, Angie and brother-in-law, Paul Ross. She is survived by her sister, Betty W. Ross and friend, Herman Powell; brother, William “Bill” Warf and wife, Margie of Wesley Chapel, Fl.; nephews, Timothy Warf of Reidsville, Randy Gammon of Danville and Donald Ross of Burlington and niece, Sylvia Bazal of Whitsett. The family will receive friends at the home of her sister, 2504 Daffodil Road after the service.
