Sally High Langdon Bailey

Reidsville: Sally High Langdon Bailey, 69, of 104 Mallard Court, Reidsville lost her courageous battle with cancer on February 21, 2011.She was born in Columbus County, the daughter of Leroy Daniel and Carrie Inez Jordan High. She graduated from Hallsboro High School, Greensboro College, and received her Masters in Education from UNC Greensboro. She spent her entire career in education and was retired from the Rockingham County School System.Sally is survived by her beloved husband, James M. Bailey; two stepsons, Chuck Bailey of Williamsburg, VA and Jonathan Bailey of Los Angeles, CA; one sister, Faye Parrish of Henderson, NC; a special niece, Wendy Hughes of Gibsonville, NC and her beloved pet “Charley Dawg”. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.At her request, there will be no memorial service. The family will be at the Bailey home on Mallard Court on Wednesday, February 23 from 3:00 – 8:00 PM if you would like to express your condolences.
