Samuel Harrison Marshall

Reidsville- Mr. Samuel Harrison Marshall, 65, died at his home in Reidsville, N.C. on Tuesday, December 17, 2013. Sam was born in Winston-Salem, N.C. on June 8, 1948, and was the son of the late Dr. James F. Marshall and Mildred C. Marshall. He was a graduate of Woodberry Forest School in Woodberry Forest, Virginia, and the University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill, where he was a member of the Pi Kappa Alpha fraternity. Sam also held a Divinity degree from Wake Forest Baptist Seminary. Sam is survived by sisters Anne Marshall Smith (Kenneth), Charlotte, N.C., and Mary Marshall Allen, Farmville N.C., aunt Nancy Marshall, and nieces and nephews. A graveside service will be held at 10:30 AM, Saturday, December 21,2013, at Salem cemetery, The Very Rev. Dr. Richard Miles, Rector of St. Thomas Episcopal Church officiating. Arrangements are in care of Wilkinson Funeral Home, Reidsville.
