Sandra Jessup Knight

Ruffin – Sandra “Sandy” Jessup Knight, 53 of 763 Perkinson Road, went to be with the Lord, Wednesday, December 29, 2010 at Annie Penn Hospital. Funeral services will be held 2:00 PM Saturday, January 1, 2011 at Wilkerson Funeral Home Chapel with Elder Bill Knight officiating. Interment will follow in Hillsdale Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery. Mrs. Knight was born in Rockingham County to Gurney L. Jessup and the late Bernell Pope Jessup. She worked for Miller Brewery Company. Sandy was a member of First Baptist Church of Mayodan She enjoyed her flowers, fishing and living life to the fullest. Sandy loved everyone she met but most of all she loved her family. Survivors include her beloved husband, David Knight of the home, step-children; Tony Knight of Durham, Dean Knight of Stokesdale and Jeff Knight of Summerfield; grandchildren, Tori Kiefer and Noah Knight; brother, Randy Jessup of Mayodan and sister, Janet Sullivan of Shallotte, NC. The family will receive friends on Friday, December 31, 2010 from 7-9 pm. at Wilkerson Funeral Home and other times at the residence.
